Braintree elects Chairman to help drive growth plans
Leading data communications specialists Braintree Communications has appointed Mr Ian Sandford as Chairman of the Board.
“Ian’s appointment as Chairman is a significant step for Braintree’s strategic focus as we move forward and grow our business,” says Peter Hall, Chief Executive Officer at Braintree.
Mr Sandford brings to Braintree over 33 years Senior Management experience including 12 years of Non-Executive Directorships. Mr Sandford has been a Director of PANBIO Limited since 1994 and Chairman since 1998, a Non-Executive Director at Burnett Valley Group and Informed Sources Pty Ltd. Ian was a Non-Executive Director at Norco Co-operative Limited Group and Norco / Pauls Milk JV.
“We are delighted that Ian has accepted the position. He brings an impressive track record of growing small businesses to successful global corporations,” said Mr Hall.
“Braintree is at that stage where we are ready to capitalise on our growth opportunities. We expect to utilise Ian’s experience and knowledge in developing and implementing strategic management practices for Braintree to exploit the development opportunities,” Mr Hall said.
“I am excited about joining the Braintree team and working with them to help recognise their potential,“ Mr Sandford said. “My focus will be to work with the other Board members to agree the strategic direction for Braintree so it can achieve its vision of being a globally significant communications catalyst. If we can do this then Braintree should deliver maximum returns to its shareholders, staff, clients and other stakeholders”.
Mr Sandford’s appointment takes effect immediately.
