23 September 2003 Braintree Grows - The Australian IT Braintree Communications has made some big appointments. Leon Richardson becomes chief financial officer managing all financial forecasting and reporting, financial strategy, systems and process development, corporate governance, budgeting and taxation.
Before Braintree he was the senior financial accountant at CB Richard Ellis. He has also worked for Australia Post, Williams, Hatchman and Kean and also 3 years at BDO Nelson Parkhill. Richardson is a Chartered Accountant and has a Bachelor in Business (Accountancy) from Queensland University of Technology.
Braintree also recently appointed Bruce Sackson as non-executive director. He has 30 years experience incorporating corporate governance and accounting practices. Sackson is a Senior Partner at BDO Kendalls and is a Member of the National Executive of BDO Nelson Parkhill. He is also Deputy Chair of West Moreton Anglican College, a Director of CEO Dynamics Pty Ltd (CEO Institute), and Finance Director of BDO Nelson Parkhill Association Ltd.
He also acts as Financial
Advisor to the Board of the Zupps Group of Companies. Braintree specialises
in the design and development of data communication solutions that allow
legacy terminals to seamlessly and immediately connect to modern networks
using intelligent protocol conversion. Its clients have included Telstra,
Boeing, Ericsson, Damovo, Cashcard and Japan Airlines.
