Braintree appoints Sarah
Merridew as Non-Executive Director Leading data communications specialists Braintree Communications has appointed Mrs Sarah Merridew as Non-Executive Director.
Mrs Merridew brings to Braintree 20 years experience in auditing, business and corporate recovery services for both large private and public corporations. Mrs Merridew is currently a Partner at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and she heads Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services Brisbane. Mrs Merridew’s impressive client portfolio includes Suncorp Metway, Queensland University of Technology, CSR Sugar, Brambles Industries and Downer EDI Group. Mrs Merridew commenced work at Deloitte in 1987 before admission as a Partner in 1993.
Mrs Merridew’s board of management experience included Managing Partner of Deloitte’s Tasmanina Office where she assisted with the development of the firm to one of the largest in the state through strategic mergers and a focus on delivering service excellence.
Mrs Merridew’s qualification and professional affiliations include Bachelor of Economics, Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Registered Company Auditor and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (formerly a Tasmanian State Councillor).
“Sarah’s breadth of knowledge and experience will strengthen and bring a new dimension to the Board as we expand our business,” said Mr Peter Hall, Chief Executive Officer at Braintree.
